Reconstruction of the primitive jellyfish, Yunnanoascus haikouensis, originally described as a combjelly, from the Early Cambrian Chengjiang Fauna. Now described as a jellyfish, Y. haiikouensis is the oldest known jellyfish with identifiable rhopalia, sensory organs unique to jellyfish that house the eye-like ocelli and motion-confirming statocysts.
