Hmm. Anyone know why the shrimp are in a daisy chain?

There are several hypotheses floating around, but, the most logical is that the species gathered together and moved from one foraging place to another in a daisy chain formation, similar to the way spiny lobsters in the Caribbean que up to migrate from one spot to another.
