Here we have the Palaoan sphingosaur Boasaurus megalodirus subduing a Capribex media. A mated pair of Gymnocolumba harpi peck at the initial bite wound the B. megalodirus made. Unlike snakes, most of the larger predatory sphingosaurs are unable to fully disengage their jaws to swallow prey. Instead, many, like Boasaurus, simply restrain or constrict the prey, then tear off chunks with their sharp teeth, though they do so only after the prey has been killed.

Technically, it has front limbs, too, but they appear to be closer to the end of the body, given as how sphingosaurs are mostly neck.
