Notes: The Viper-sphinxes are a genus of venomous sphingosaurs that prey on arboreal reptiles, including other sphingosaurs. Their venom comprises of both neurotoxins and haemolytic toxins.

Name: Lesser Bug-eating Sphinx
Species: Entomophagosphinx parvulum
Length: 0.5 to 1 meter
Notes: One of the largest insectivorous sphingosaurs in Palao.

Name: Yellow Eden's Sphinx
Species: Edenophis xanthe
Length: 2.1 to 4 meters
Notes: Eden's Sphinxes are fruit-eating sphingosaurs. The larger species of the genus are (sort of) strict frugivores that aestivate in treeholes, only to emerge when their preferred fruits are ripening in abundance. They supplement their diet with the occasional competitor that strayed too closely. The smaller species supplement their diet of fruit with insects.
