Various raoavids _{(not to be confused with the Terran dromaeosaur, Rahonavis from Late Cretaceous Madagascar)} of Palao.

Name: Death's Harrier
Species: Necroraptor necroraptor
Wingspan: 119 centimeters
Notes: The type species of Necroraptor. It is named for the way its pale markings suggest ribs. It is found primarily in the swamps along the shores of the Eye of Palao. It feeds primarily on small birds, small icaratheres, and large insects. Its main competitors are the various hannah-hawks, Dactylofalco, and its primary predator is the Hannah-Condor, Dactyloguptias viracocha.

Species: Necroraptor hirundopteryx
Wingspan: 50 to 92 centimeters
Notes: N. hirundopteryx is a swift-flying insectivore also found in the swamps of the Eye of Palao. It avoids competition from the various, aggressive pygmy hannah-hawks (smaller species of Dactylofalco) by being a specialist predator of diurnal omniopsids, which are ignored by most other avian insectivores.

Notes: Feeds exclusively on small birds. The graceful is found throughout Palao and the Green Fortress of Anak Palao, but is rarely seen in its range.
